Insurance cover included means: comprehensive insurance in the event of accidental damage, electronic damage, software damage, battery damage, rainwater damage, breakdown damage. This insurance cover only applies to the bicycle used by the renter, not to the person who has been involved in the accident or any other person or property.

ATTENTION: The insurance does not cover theft or loss of the bike, however, this risk is the responsibility of the renter.
In the event of theft or loss of the wheel, we must charge you for the time value of the wheel, but at least the following amount:

In order to minimize the risk of theft, we recommend using the bicycle locks provided free of charge by eBike-Mallorca.

On Mallorca there is the helmet requirement by law. You can rent a helmet at our rental station. We always have high quality and current models in our assortment.

The range of the PowerPack depends on many different factors:

• With which drive unit is your eBike equipped?
• In which terrain are you on the move?
• What is your average speed?

Battery and charging process / charging times

In our rental e-bikes on Mallorca you will find only the most modern Bosch lithium-ion batteries.
These do not have memory effects or self-discharge. You will receive one original BOSCH eBike charger per rental bike.

Charging options:
You can charge the battery via the charger when it is installed, but you will need a power outlet at a maximum distance of approx. 2 meters to the bike.
Or open the lock of the battery by means of a key, remove the battery and charge it independently of your eBike. Charge your battery overnight in your hotel or use your charger on the road for longer tours.

How much does a battery charge cost?
The price of a complete battery charge costs between 10 and 15 cents.

Does the Bosch eBike battery always have to be run empty before I recharge it?
No, you can charge the battery at any time, the battery management system regulates all charging processes.

ATTENTION: Please use only original chargers and rechargeable batteries, these are provided by eBike-Mallorca.

DANGER NOTE:
The BOSCH eBike batteries are class 9, UN4380 hazardous goods. Transport in airplanes is strictly forbidden and will be punished draconically.
In case of a battery fire, please never touch it. Get yourself and others to safety and get some fresh air. The gases emitted are highly harmful to health and highly flammable, which is why they can lead to a gas explosion.

The Bosch eBike system offers five different driving modes to choose from, which offer the ideal support profile depending on the application and driver type:

• Turbo: Direct, maximum powerful support up to the highest cadence for ambitious and sporty driving.
• Sport: Immediate, powerful support for sporty off-road and urban driving.
• Tour: Uniform support for long range tours.
• Eco: Effective support with maximum efficiency for maximum range.
• Off: No support, all on-board computer functions are available.

The additional pushing aid makes your life even easier.

Mallorca is for good reason considered the paradise for cyclists. There are countless sign-posted bike tours and cycle paths, we recommend their use.
Despite the wonderful conditions, we have some important hints for you. On the often narrow and single-lane roads, oncoming traffic occasionally occurs. The beautiful natural stone walls along the roads often narrow the roadway, so drive with foresight. In the mountains, stones and rubble can be found on the roadway. Donkeys, sheep and cows can also suddenly stand on the road. The winding and hilly roads require a concentrated and careful driving style. Avoid the main roads. In Mallorca helmets are generally compulsory.
Please be especially careful when driving on wet roads, as the roads and cycle paths of Mallorca can be very slippery.
